Regional Credit Manager

We are currently seeking a Regional Credit Manager to join our growing organization. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Calgary, AB.
Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Credit Manager will be responsible for both oversight and hands-on management of the company’s credit functions, including building strong customer relationships, improving credit processes, granting credit, reviewing accounts, managing risk, collections, minimizing bad debt losses and facilitating cash collection. The Credit Manager will work closely with the VP of Sales, VP of Service/Equipment and Regional Managers to assess customer credit requirements. They will manage a large portfolio of credit accounts, execute, and administer company credit policies, supervisory/leadership skills and manage credit risk through analysis and monitoring of market conditions. The Credit Manager has a breadth of responsibility across multiple branches and provinces, and operates in a high-pressure, sales-oriented environment.
Candidates will have experience in the credit industry for 10+ years, and for the past five years will have been working in a decision-making capacity in credit management. Your education will include a business degree, or an equivalent combination of professional training and experience. A thorough knowledge of credit analysis, reporting and collection services is required, as well as management skills, solid interpersonal skills, and computer literacy relevant to the functions of the position (Microsoft Office, ERP Software, Excel). Demonstration of professionalism, discretion and a high level of judgement/organization skills will be essential to succeed in this position.
